Hello guys,
According to the FT ranking, SKEMA Business School is ranked 3rd for the Master's in Financial Markets and Investments (ranking: https://rankings.ft.com/exportranking/masters-in-finance-pre-experience-2020/pdf). I've been admitted to it, and, to be honest, I really liked the interview and the environment which seems to exist there. However, reading several posts here on GMAT Club, it seems that SKEMA is not so well-known and is not a top level University. May I ask your feedback on this?
I am also going to apply to ESSEC, HEC Paris and LBS, and I am waiting for an answer from Imperial. My overall profile, as I am only 21 years old, seems to be strong (internship, many international experiences, maximum GPA, 4 scholarships for merit), but my main problem is my GMAT score, which is only 640. Sadly, I am very bad at tests like the GMAT: it is not my piece of cake. I am going to declare that I will retake the test, so let's see what happens. However, in the meantime, could you please tell me why you think that, for example, ESSEC is better than SKEMA, even if SKEMA is higher in the FT ranking?
Thank you very much,
Anna
