I heard something similar from the adcom rep during my visit through the Ambassadors Program. Basically, their acceptance rate worked out to be 11% last year. Good luck to you all! Congrats for getting through the process. Now the waiting begins....

guys and gurls - i read somewhere that Sloan informs much earlier about dings than about interview calls....any support for this statement?

Here is the available information on website: "Candidates will be invited to interviews by email, up until the decision deadlines. Decisions will be released early for some candidates who will be denied admission without an interview. Interviews will be conducted at MIT Sloan and in several key regions around the globe. Please indicate on the application the preferred location for your interview; in some cases, we may conduct interviews by telephone. Please note that interviews are conducted on weekdays and during business hours."

Forum seems to be very silent. After submitting the application, it was a great relief. But now the waiting starts. Started the application for the next school.
