From what Ive seen, that has been the case for most school threads. Odd, I agree.

Whatever happened to Sloan's early ding?

It is not odd. This year we have the profile that encapsulates what colleges we are applying and who applied and other profile info. Last time ppl forst responded saying i am applying R1. Then I applied R1. Then someone will say that ok, I updated the roll call count on first page etc etc.
All the useless posts are gone this year. mostly all useful stuff is posted.
The roll call posts caused a lot of posts until last year.

Good luck to all who are still going onto interviews. MIT's whole interview process is very professional and pleasant experience, despite the stress of the interview involved.

Hey guys,

While I guess maybe 90% of time you will get something like what's on the wiki, it is actually possible to get something different. Best of luck!

Hi Supermushroom, welcome to the forum!

Sorry for my dumb question, but can anyone plz tell me what this WIKI is? Everybody invited to an interview seems to be talking about this!

The Clear Admit Wiki provides Interview reports were people list the questions they got during school interviews... Here is the link for the Sloan page: https://www.clearadmit.com/wiki/index.ph ... nInterview

Parsing Beat The GMAT forum, someone in Virginia (mostly military from his profile),
got called two days ago. That being said, after being strung around by Haas for a month,
I am skeptical that there is going to be another wave of calls. Haas sent out two interview
calls over the last one month.
My gloomy prediction:
1: MIT strings us along until the deadline giving out a handful of invites to a few lucky souls [90% chance]
2: There is a second wave of invites in the next few weeks. [10% chance]
and yes, I have way too much time on my hands.

For option 2, aren't we running out of time to, logistically, get the interviews in?

I think so too Ryan. I believe the game is almost over for people who have not been invited yet. The adcom may interview a few more from Rd1 based on their interview experiences so far, but for most of us waiting, i think it is gonna be a ding. Sorry to say it, but that's my gut feeling.

Does 'deferment w/o interview' happen at Sloan, or is it mostly those that have been interviewed? That could be a possibility...

Should I send a letter to MIT and ask about my application? Has anyone tried this? At least it is a more active way instead of waiting here.
