Almost every day of this week has been very stressful. Wharton, Booth and now Sloan to top it off. I have always had a good feeling about Sloan since i visited last March. Historically, Sloan has been known to accept more people they interview then peer schools since they choose to interview fewer candidates. I hope that bodes well for most of us

Oh God, I hope you are right about that aalba005
Someone asked a related question when I was there for my interview and Rebecca said that they take in a little over 50% of those interviewed.
I had a really good interview, but my experience with Wharton (and maybe Booth...still waiting to see my status online) has shown that that doesnt matter in the least. It's really kinda disheartening and frustrating.
Anyway, best of luck to you!
I hear you. We are in the same boat. Good luck to the both of us.
In talking to several alumni, I get the sense that a Sloan interview demonstrates way more advancement in the process than a Wharton/Booth interview. These schools tend to interview a large body of the applicant pool and make a bigger cut then would Sloan. With Sloan, 80% of candidates are already filtered by the interview, we are almost there...
I think the # is 65%, some people told me 70%, and 1 person told me 80%. The Sloan interview is more of a live person/personality check, if you fit with the culture (which is extremely distinct from other schools), you will get in.
Crossing fingers for you - I am also waiting anxiously for tomorrow PM. Stay cool!
Good luck to everyone!
