Hey Guys!! Any results for Dec 1 deadline?? Waiting for my result, interviewed on 9th Jan. Penn state page says results would be declared by Feb 1. But I have noticed on the forum that Smeal is very quick with its decisions after interview is done and this is making me anxious. I also have an admit at Texas A&M and I will have to submit my deposit to them by 31st Jan to secure my seat. But I am really inclined towards Smeal. Hope I will get a positive reply from Smeal.

Hi Guys!!

I need some advise. After my acceptance I received two emails: one from Smeal and other from Graduate School. I am supposed to accept my offer on both the links. I have already accepted the offer on Gradschool email and after that I was asked to provide my original transcripts and degree certificate (that my previous school has already forwarded to Penn state or I believe so as the status on my application show "pending review" in front of my transcripts. Earlier it was displaying "NO"in red under the column 'Received). My enrollment deadline is 22nd March'...Now I need to understand whether I should make my enrollment deposit and confirm my acceptance on second email (from Smeal) now (as I have already decided to join Penn State) or I should wait for this pending review status to get cleared.

Sure! I can only say that if it were me, I would send an email to Smeal. Maybe something like, "I'd like to go ahead and make my deposit. Could you please confirm that you have everything you need from me. If you do not, would you please share with me what is still outstanding and help me understand how to complete these steps?" That's what I did
