HI, I have received admit from SMU Cox business school for Master in Finance fall 2021 program. I am waiting for decisions from McCombs, Simon business school (Uni of Rochester) and Johns Hopkins Carey. I have reply to Cox till 4th Jan 2021. I am really confused about whether to wait for other admits or to accept at Cox. Can anyone guide me on this? P.S.- I am an Indian Chartered Accountant with external audit experience with two of the big 4s looking to explore a career in core finance (valuations, financial risk consulting)

Congratulations on your admit.
I suggest you speak with the adcom at SMU (I’m not sure if it’s JR or Brent you’ve been corresponding with) and discuss this with them with full disclosure. They are super accommodating, they might even push the deadline for you.
