This is a little surprising since they have mentioned on the website that final offers and R3 offers would come out together around Nov 10. Anyone else from R1 or R2 got the offer (Not Early Offer, the final list)

Hi! given that 30th October is the last date of submission of GMAT score. Can i take offline gmat on 30th October and submit my the score on that day?? Any idea?

Official GMAT score need to be submitted by 30th Oct. And GMAC generally takes 5-6 days to release the official score. You can contact the admission team to know if the unofficial score work on the last day.

IIM L I K better for sure. maybe Comparable to IIM I - I was told this by an IIM A PGPX alum.

Placements of all three clgs are almost similar. I’m really confused.. whether to pursue IIM dream or be happy with SPJIMR

thats totally a personal choice to be honest , but if I were there , would keep IIM L > IIM K > SPJ > IIM I

It's personal choice, but blacki seems to have upper hand compared to spjimr. IIM's have better brand value and recognition across world and also IIM's tag value is bound to improve over time.

To those who have gotten the final offers, have the adcoms team mentioned the exact date from when the campus classes will begin. The website says online classes for two months starting Dec 2. So is it fair to assume that from Feb 2, 2024, the offline classes will begin?

The BLACKI preference and IIM tag hold true for the 2 year MBA via CAT. I believe SPJIMR holds a definite edge as compared to L,K,I in the 1 year MBA given that it is much older and hence a better alumni network. The location advantage of SPJIMR is also considerable given the fast paced nature of 1 year MBA. I believe that it is probably the 5th best option after IIM A,B, C and ISB.

It's true for 1 yr programs as well for IIM's. Again it's a personal choice but for me iim tag is preferred. Any iim brand and program value is expected to grow over time. IIM u is prime example with really good growth in previous years. And now iim Mumbai has entered the game as well. So it is an apple to oranges comparison as iim gives you more than placement itself, the IIM tag

the highest package in 2023 for the one year programs in IIM Indore Shillong Kozhikode and MDI Gurgaon PGDM BM and SPJIMR PGPM was 43.92 LPA. so exactly same highest package. the big difference is the average package and International Immersion. SPJIMR PGPM has the best International Immersion with INSEAD as the partner institute and even IIMs dont have such a great partner institute and not even the two year PGDM in SPJIMR has the INSEAD option.

Every good bschools have really good tie ups. Xlri has with Rutgers university, all iims have with good bschools across world. But some don't conduct international immersion. Mdi Gurgaon has it as option for students. The international immersion by spjimr is a week workshop at insead and requires you to pay 4.1 lakh and additional travel, accommodation and food can cost over 2 lakhs. So giving over 6 lakh for a week workshop for a certificate may not be the best deal. It's an additional financial burden for students and depreciates the roi.
That may be the reason that some IIM's, xlri are not conducting this and mdi keeping it optional.

While submitting the GMAT scores, do we have to intimate the admissions team separately that the process is now completed from our end ? Also, does the spjimr team intimate us in case we aren't selected for the course ?
