Yeah as much as I will like to believe, I am pretty certain all hope is gone. Best case you get waitlisted and I think to get out of the waitlist is very unlikely.

Oh man, it's phone call day here in Asia....although I'm only here for a trip so ill be up late tonight hopefully waiting for my phone to buzz! I'm trying to work on my R2 essays at the moment but it's so hard to concentrate!

Same here! I don't do patience well. So if we were to get a call would it most likely be tomorrow or Wednesday?

Good point, if I am lucky enough to get a call then it will be early morning Asia time (since i'm actually from Europe...)

Looking at last year's thread, DB calls people the day before they officially post the decision online.

My best guess is that they will start the calls in the East and go West. So starting early morning Palo Alto time that would make it late evening Asian time today. Again this is just a guess though!

I didn't know DB calls one day before the decision date written on the website. OMG, today is the day in Asia!

Have been following the posts very closely and decided I would let you all know if I get any news!
And so it happened, a call from Derrick himself. I know - it's 3 am in California! But I am just very excited right now.
