Since Stern has rolling admissions, are the deposit deadline dates different for everyone? I'm 90% sure I will choose Stern, but kind of want to attend an admit weekend at another school to be certain. The admit weekend is 3 days after my Stern deposit deadline... does anyone know if Stern admissions would have any flexibility with that date?

Hey mbabm17, you have a tough decision to make considering the schools you've been accepted into! I believe the deposit deadline date of April 22nd is universal, so I would email the admissions team (admits@stern.nyu.edu) and explain them your situation and see their response. My guess is the date isn't flexible, but you never know what lengths they may go to recruit talent.

Congratulations on your success and hopefully you choose stern!

Any movement on the waitlist recently? Does anyone know how many waitlisted students get a final admit?

Hi topmba04!

I'm not sure about the waitlist stats, however on one of NYU's podcasts it states that ~70% of interviewed applicants are offered admissions into the program.

Admitted ..... :-D :-D :-D .

Indian applicant with experience in M&A in a mid-market Indian investment bank. Massively excited but need to evaluate the cost (will need a loan), placements and H1B factor in more detail. Would really appreciate a perspective from other folks on whether to go ahead. I have been waitlisted post interview by the London Business School and have an invite (with $$) from Indian School of Business.

For interested folks, admission timeline below:

- Applied R2 (15 Nov)
- Mid-decision (12 Feb) - Waitlisted for interview
- Interview invite (off campus) - March 1st week
- Interview - March 16 (degree transcript provided on March 25)
- Decision - March 31

Hi All,

International admit here. Any idea about the maximum loan the school could provide to me without a co-signer? Also, is the school typically open towards such loans to internationals? And does the amount mentioned in my I-20 play a role in determining the above.

Would really appreciate comments on the above.

Thanks

Hi demonbarca, I'm not really that sure about international loans...however, I believe your marital status, current income and liquid assets will play a role in the amount of loan that will be provided. Best bet is to reach out to the Adcom, I'm sure their experts at this already :o)

Best of luck!

Same here. Its been more than 2 weeks. However, I submitted the transcripts after 1 week. Eagerly waiting for the results but no response from the adcom so far.

I'm in the same boat as well, over 2 weeks. When I was at NYU for the interview, the Adcom told me that this is their very busy season and a response would be in 2 - 3 weeks. I'd imagine their comparing/contrasting from a large pool of applications (waitlist, round 2, 3, international, etc.).
