Here's my breakdown....

I used MGMAT CAT's for all my other tests. I can clearly say that although the overall scores were pretty even, the breakdowns are intense! The quant on the GMATprep were a joke almost. But the Verbal.....geezzzz.....intense. intense......

Any recommendations on course of action other than "study verbal" because I'm kind of depleted all my resources =(

bottom line, the real gmat verbal is a lot more difficult than what manhattan offers....and here's the numbers to prove it...

I dont know if anyone else here is having the same kind of problem I am but I'm definitely definitely stuck. Right under the 600 mark. I'll the GMATprep and get somewhere in the 560-570 range. And then do the Manhattan GMAT CAT's and get around the same. Reviewed the OG as well as the MGMAT SC twice. Any ideas or comments on how to get over the 600 mark? My highest score was like a 590 and my lowest was a 560....

and im starting to get the feeling that I reached max intellect capacity

How exactly did you review OG? The right way of doing OG is STUDYING the answers. And by "studying" I mean analyzing wrong answers as well as the right one. You should have a solid understanding of reasons that make 4 answer choices wrong and one - right.

I mean, the resources you used were right ones, maybe your tactics were ill-chosen.

In this situation I'd have started with OG 10 to sharpen my skills by working on some easier problems. Back to basics, so to speak. Then return to OG 12 and MGMAT SC, CR

Ok. what you need to do is to figure out what part of verbals you got wrong. Meaning use error log and see what type of questions for verbal. Your 23 shows me you need a verbal OVERHAUL to improve. Your quant can be a bit better but you need to focus on verbal ~90% of the time. You probably need the MGMAT verbal and Powerscore Critical reasoning to boost your verbal.

if sc is a weak link in ur verbal... note down all the qsns u got wrong in the GMAT prep and search them on Manhattan GMAT forums... the replies on that forum will help your build on your concepts and improve your sc score...
same goes for cr too...
read the detailed analysis of the qsn on that forum and make sure when you move on to a new qsn you know what went wrong in the previous one...

best of luck
