Hello everyone,
Even though this is my first post,i have been browsing forums and topics in gmat club everyday for the past 4 months or so!
Here is my question:
I took 2 gmat club tests(quant only) today and in the first one i scored a mere 31 and in the second one a 51(98th percentile).
Not only that, but the first cat seemed alot harder than the second and i had to pretty much guess the last 6-7 questions due to lack of time,whereas on the second test i finished in 63 mins...
Nowdays my quant is around 46-49,so neither score reflects my actual level.
The only main difference was that i took the first test with your old test platform, and the second one with the new one.
So how can such a big difference be explained?(i wasnt tired in any test)

The GMAT Club tests are probably best for building skills and working on pacing, not as pure diagnostics. The GMATPrep CATs are the best at measuring exactly where your skills are at. So, I don't think you need to worry about the variance in result. My guess is that you were "warmed up" for the second test. And possibly it was a bit easier than the first. I'm not sure.
