Strategy to attempt GMAT MOCK

Hi,

I am planning to book my GMAT date to 20th of this month. I have already attempted 5 official gmatprep mocks with scores 670-700. Quant is consistently 49 but verbal is around 35. SC is consistently good (acc >=80% but CR and RC vary i.e. 65-80% in one of the sections to even around 50% in one of the sections with other section at 75-80%. So its like score in one of the sections amongst the two falls.
 
In the last mock got 700. My target is about 720 but definitely 700+. I would attempt my final mock tomorrow and then will be booking my GMAT online appointment for 20th. I have been following the Q-V-IR-AWA order always and would mostly stick to the same. Giving this mock after 2 weeks of working on weak areas and practicing mostly official questions. Need to bump up verbal 2-3 points atleast.

Just wanted some inputs as to how best to attempt the mock and ultimately the GMAT to maximise my score i.e. more in terms of strategy.

Have suggested Manhattan-Prep's 6th Edition for CR. If you think your fundamentals are solid on Verbal, consider working on your solving approach. May help boost your score a bit. Had a student for example who went from a V41 to a V45 in about 2 weeks. Perhaps work with a study buddy with ace CR and RC skills.

Hi Rahul.

Honestly, I think you should wait to take that final practice test. Instead of taking it tomorrow, you could work on CR and RC by learning some strategies and then practicing UNTIMED until you are achieving 90%+ accuracy on medium questions and 80%+ accuracy on hard ones. Then, once you're achieving those accuracies, you can work on answering CR and RC questions faster while maintaining high accuracy, and after you have done that, you could take that last practice test.
