Hi All,
I am little confused considering the way GMAT marks up a score.
I have scored 35 in Verbal with 13-15 incorrect out of 36 and 29 with just 7 incorrect of 36.

I have my official exam in less than a week.

Any suggestions ?
Are those GMATPrep scores? On the actual GMAT as well you'll notice that the number of questions incorrect is not a very precise indicator of the final score. For example, it is possible to get a Q50 with only one question wrong. The best thing for you to do here is what LauraOrion suggested: do the best you can, without committing so much time that your later questions are compromised. To do that successfully, you should make sure that you have a good timing strategy in place.

Hi Manas1212,

Since GMAC uses a confidential scoring algorithm, no one can say for sure EXACTLY how your exam is scored. That being said, try to focus your efforts on the things you can control; the number one thing you can control is getting better at the GMAT, right?

I see that your exam is coming up, so if you have any further questions, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to help.

Good luck!
