Hi there,
I have heard from couple of people that it is advantageous to take GMAT exam on starting dates of a month(say 1st to 10th) rather than taking it on the last few dates of the month they say that chances of you getting a high score say 700+ are more on the starting dates as compared to the end dates(according to them its like the proportion of people getting a score of 700+ is almost same every month and till the end dates if that no has already been reached then consequently the test difficulty increases and chances of getting a high score decreases) .
I just wanted views of some of the experienced members out there that is there any iota of truth to this claim or is it just baseless and shouldnt be really bothered abt this.

Hi there,
I must say I've never heard this one! This is a myth -- taking the GMAT at the beginning of the month vs end of the month will not increase your chances of getting above a 700.
Definitely feel free to schedule your GMAT any day of the month.
