Thank you, GMATCLUB!

Please explain you preparation experiencefor GMAT in more details
I read the
Manhattan GMAT books almost twice, highlighting everything that was important. Doing all the practice questions in the GMAC book (only bought the red one). I studied about 5 hours per day, every day (including weekends) for about 8 weeks. I skipped out on my class in law school, deciding to retake the class later. Then I kept practicing on where I thouht that I was the weakest, constantly looking for wekanesses in and practicing to get better in those areas. I never practiced the essay writing, but went on the forums the day before the GMAT and checked the guide for writing essay. Memorized some of it and and then just made arguments, I like to make arguments though, on the test. I never used books 6 and 7 which are Logical Reasoning and Reading comprehension because I felt I was already very strong in those areas. I have never even opened them. Too late I discovered that I could take practice tests with Manhattan online. But I had heard that sometimes unofficial practice questions do not reflect the ones on the actual GMAT and therefore stuck to only using official practice questions to not fall in that trap. I would perhaps recommend getting the verbal and the math book with practice questions from GMAC. I did all the questions in the red book, but felt I could have used some more.
On the actual test I was unable to focus fully, felt nervous, and tired and stressed. I did 2-3 mistakes on the math parth and none on the verbal. If I had not done the mistakes on the math I would probably have gotten 780 (Q50, V47), instead I got a 760 (Q49, V47). But I am happy, even though I of course wish I had a 780 instead.
Also I used the GMATPrep software to diagnose myself after 4 weeks and after 6 weeks, to see how I was doing, motivate myself and spot any weaknesses.
Also got the SC PDF book from GMATclub, but never had time to use it, unfortunately.
