Forget the USNEWS and BW rankings. These are the true GMATClub rankings for your B-schools.

Based on mneo's popular post last year, I thought it would be timely to release the 2009 Rankings.

DISCLAIMER: This is just a "popularity in GMATClub" ranking. The ranking is based on the number of thread views of each school's "Calling All Applicants" thread. So the method is definitely not scientific (Imagine many views Kellogg got just because of river and Booth got because of rhyme). It's just interesting to see what schools get more interest at GMATClub. If your school is missing from the ranking, please feel free to add.

Interesting to read if nothing else. The fact that Sloan dings its non-interviewees much earlier in the process (and doesn't interview many people in general) would lead to its slide I would think.

This confirms what I thought...I'm worried that between rhyme and river recruiting so many gclubbers that the forum will soon be renamed to How to get into Chicago/Kellogg and other applications of lesser known schools!

Interesting stuff.

Of course, the top 2 schools have massive enrollment size, they are kind of like the "I'll take my chances with them" schools. And even though HBS has a massive enrollment, it is far down the list just due to it's impossibility factor.

Clearly this is the most accurate ranking methodology. :wink:

I also think Kellogg's method of notifying people throughout the round adds some extra anxiety resulting in more posts, and also causes more frequent 'congrats' or 'sorry' posts as the decisions are released.

Good year for Fuqua!

With R2 decisions pending at some schools (I know of at least Harvard and Stanford), we might see some re-shuffling in the next few weeks.

With over 8000 views, London Business School should ROAR in at 16th place here - and possibly rise further after the R2 results are out (unless this is a US only ranking ;) ). This is a major surge. In 2008, the LBS thread only saw 2000 odd views.
