The analysts on the call noticed the CEO, when pressed for more information on the inventory growth, that he steered the conversation toward a related, but less controversial, topic.

→ The pronoun he is ungrammatical.
We do not say, "I noticed Abhi that he wears only red ties."
We also do not say, "I noticed that Abhi he wears only red ties."
Remove the modifier phrase and the misplaced word that, this way:
The analysts on the call noticed the CEO he steered the conversation toward a related, but less controversial, topic.
Nonsense.
Steering is a participle (a verbING). The correct working verb is steered.
→ Two back to back "stacked" noun modifiers create confusion.
Modifier #1: The analysts noticed something about the CEO.
Modifier #2: What they noticed occurred in a certain context, namely, when [the CEO was] pressed for more information.
Most of the time, two noun modifiers with this logical underpinning will "flank" a noun. (One modifier will be placed before the noun. The other modifier will be placed after the noun.)
→ The noun-modifying when-clause is poorly placed. It seems to describe the analysts, should describe the CEO, and is confusing at best.
The words when pressed for more information fit logically with the CEO's behavior of steering the conversation in a different direction, but the phrase is placed right after information about the analysts.
This sentence is a hot mess.
