1. In square feet, bedroom 1 is approximately___________the size of bedroom 2.

Bedroom-1
Length = 13.5 ft
Width = 9 ft

Area = 13.5*9

Bedroom-2
Length = 13.5 ft
Width = 19.5-9 = 10.5 ft

Area = 13.5*10.5

\(\frac{Area Bedroom-1}{Area Bedroom-2}\) = \(\frac{13.5*9}{13.5*10.5}\) ~ 85.60%

A. 14%
B. 45%
C. 55%
D. 68%
E. 86%

The longest straight line between any two corners will be the diagonal length AC ,as depicted in the \(\triangle\) ABC in the image below.

Length=41
Breadth=19.5

Hypotenuse / Diagonal ~ 45.40

A. 15
B. 35
C. 45
D. 55
E. 75

Pythogoras theorem, hypotenuse^2 = 41^2 + 19.5^2
h = ~45
