The x intercept of the graph is -1
so only option left are option A and D
Since, x is going towards negative infinite therefore co-efficient of y^2 must be -ve
Answer: Option A

Since the point (-1, 0) belongs to the graph, we eliminate all answer choices which do not result in x = -1 when we substitute y = 0; therefore, we are left with answer choices A and D.
Notice that the x-values of the graph are negative for all values of y; therefore, we eliminate answer choice D as well since x = y^2 -1 is nonnegative when y ≥ 1.
Answer: A
