The graphs show the results of a survey of frequent business travelers, separated into two groups: those who travel with carry-on luggage only and those who travel with both carry-on luggage and checked luggage. The survey asked, "During the last year, has your overall flight experience gotten better, gotten worse, or remained the same relative to the previous year?" The graphs report the number of travelers by group and response.

When a respondent is selected at random from all respondents, the probability that he or she thought the flight experience had remained the same is approximately
When a respondent is selected at random from those who thought the flight experience had gotten worse, the probability that he or she checked luggage is approximately

part 1) Total no of respondents whose experience remained same = 20 + 30 = 50
Total no of respondents = 20+ 25+35+30+15+75 = 200
Hence probability = 50/200 = 0.25
Part 2) Total no of passengers whose experience remained same = 25 + 75 = 100
No of passengers who had checked in luggage = 75
Hence probability = 75/100 = 0.75
Total no of respondents = 20+ 25+35+30+15+75 = 200
Hence probability = 50/200 = 0.25
Part 2) Total no of passengers whose experience remained same = 25 + 75 = 100
No of passengers who had checked in luggage = 75
Hence probability = 75/100 = 0.75

Total worse response (carry on responses+ Checked and carry on responses)= 100. Of this only 75 belong to checked . so prob = 0.75
