Nyalah, have you also applied in this round?

Do tell us more about yourself.

Yes, and now I'm looking forward to the interview. My profile is average I guess.. I am an eastern european, graduate in June, GPA: 3.9/4.0, average GMAT, supposedly have outstanding references. Have won one fellowship and one award, all academic though. No achievements in sports/arts :(
I struggled with essays for a month :-D

P.S. female

I guess if I am the only one without an interview call 2 weeks after the deadline, that pretty much sums up their response! And I thought I had a shot :( ... good luck everyone.. do enjoy London!

nyalah, have you received the interview invite?? Has it been scheduled yet?

which country?? whose references did you take??

Another admit mentioned that he was told he had 'outstanding references'!

If it matters, I submitted long before the deadline, so maybe they consider the applications in that order?
Besides, shouldn't they respond anyway?

No, the interview is not scheduled, my interviewer told me to call him next week.. One reference is from my supervisor, he is well known worldwide and once taught at Berkeley, and another from the director of a research institute that works for the govt. But I do have some weak points - my GMAT and my undegrad (not business related).. Tell you what, when I received my score I was devastated. It took me sometime to gain confedence and start writing my essays.

Hey, guys, every case is individual. LBS values diversity! Honestly, you need to believe in yourselves.
Good luck to everyone!

Wow, a lot of MiM applicants in this round then!!!

Best of luck everyone....Hopefully, we all will be classmates come September. :)

Do keep us updated!

@ Elderas - Did you apply for the MiM or the MBA programme? Perhaps with the increasing number of applicants, the MiM programme deserves its own thread. :)

@MiM applicants: In essay #4 (involvement), have you also written about the clubs offered at LBS and eventually which club you can imagine to start? I ask because our topic is slightly different from the MBA question where it specifically asks about the clubs and activities? Thanks for your feedback...

Yup, it's pretty much equivalent to the club question....

mention the clubs which you are genuinely interested in, and which you hope to make an active contribution to, comparable to the MBAs.

Best of Luck!!

Yeah - sorry I wasn't around more to help out. Its been pretty hectic. I'll be around but not as often as I'd like, but do let me know if you have any questions.

Hi all,

Are there specific rounds where American candidates are more competitive? i.e. Is it best for Americans to apply in R1 or R2... or are they competitive all the way until R4?

Does LBS use R4 to round out their class with nationalities that are less represented?
