Hey all,

Longtime lurker on these boards. Coming out of the woodwork now as well as a round 2 candidate.

Applied with 740/Singaporean Chinese/29/M/3.5 years in a sovereign wealth fund doing data-finance/1.5 yrs big4 auditor

Still no interview invite or ding mail yet...

The waiting is killing!

Any interview invites yet? I slept very fitfully last night! :-(

Have been a silent spectator on this forum so far, but the wait is killing...

my profile:
Indian male, 29, 720, 6.5 years in MNC bank, Top tier engg & MBA from India (65%+ acads)....anyone reckon my chances?

Was waitlisted and later dinged by Insead last year...have an interview call from Oxford now.

they send out emails to applicants - including dings! tenterhooks is right; i'm checking my email and this forum every 10 mins! :!:

I think LBS specifically designs their essays to be really generic, and everyone has no problem fitting in the compelling bits of their story in there.

which, when you think of it, make our best hard to stand out against the relative best of the other applicants

which, brings us all back to square 1.

Can one of the R1 admits shed some light on:

Does the email indicating successful progress to the interview stage also indicate the list of interviewers? Or is that addressed in a separate subsequent email?

Realise I'm jumping the gun here but might as well as think about the positive outcome!

4test1, you will only be informed of the decision for now (unless it's different from R1). Then the adcom director responsible for your region will get in touch via email and pair you up with your interviewer - this process took around two weeks in my case. After that you get in touch with your interviewer yourself to set up a time and place for the interview.

hopefully you're through to experience this for yourself! :)
