Waitlisted.

Looks like I'm heading to INSEAD! It is my first love after all.

Will be taking myself off the waitlist for LBS soon. I hope that improves the chances of those on the waitlist. Good luck everyone!

2 years means more time to spend with class-mates and more time to live as a student :)

I d say LBS. Also because I am biased because of my admit :) But seriously, one, it is London. Second, 2 years is much better for learning, network building and personal development. INSEAD is a great school as well and has perhaps a more international class, but only marginally more. Take you call, you won't be wrong either way. And if it is London, I will look forward to seeing you :)

I´m in the same position as you, so let me share you my decision and thoughts to get there.

Both are great schools and their essence is similar: they are global, well recognized, excellent faculty, fantastic student body. There are differences but, in my humble opinion, they are not so important: class size, tuition fees, among others. So at the end I find only 2 differences that I really care about: location and duration. London vs Fontainebleu or Singapore, and 2 years of networking, enjoying and preparing myself (including the summer internship) vs only 1 year of those things without the internship.

I choose LBS. Again, just my own personal thoughts. I hope it helps, and good luck with your hard decission (a hard decission that many people would want to have).

Thanks bluedreamer and Madmex82, I am thinking on the same lines as I am looking for a career change so an internship will help a lot with that. Also, if I do feel like getting away early, LBS does have an option of completing the mba in 15 or 18 months as well.........

btw I also got an admit from Wharton today but seems like I will still go with LBS......
@Bluedreamer, I can see that you also have Wharton on your list, what is the status on that? and whats your take on LBS vs Wharton?

Hi all,
I've been dinged.

To be honest, I don't know what happened. I thought I had a great interview. After it was over the guy was already explaining to me in detail what I should expect in the first and second year, the things that I should prepare in order to go to London, etc etc, and after all, I was dinged....

Has anyone been denied after going to the interview, or have all the people who went to the interview got waitlisted at least?
