1> Eliminate A & B - gains of efficiency is better than efficiency gains
2> Eliminate E - Growth of pressure is wrong in this sentence
3> Pressure to measure is correct as to is working with to measure quality and to keep
but in D - in measuring quality and to keep is not parallel

(A) a desire for efficiency gains as well as the growing pressure on hospitals to measure quality and keeping

(B) a desire for efficiency gains as well as the growing pressure on hospitals to measure quality and they keep

(C) a desire for gains in efficiency as well as the growing pressure on hospitals to measure quality and keep

(D) a desire for gains in efficiency as well as the growing pressure on hospitals in measuring quality and to keep

(E) a desire for gains in efficiency as well as the growth of pressure on hospitals that measure quality and keep

(A) a desire for efficiency gains as well as the growing pressure on hospitals to measure quality and keeping
Efficiency gains? As if efficiency in itself is gaining something. Doesn't make any sense. It doesn't maintain the ||ism. Efficiency is || to growing pressure. Really? Wrong

(B) a desire for efficiency gains as well as the growing pressure on hospitals to measure quality and they keep
Same as A. Efficiency is || to growing pressure. Really? Wrong

(C) a desire for gains in efficiency as well as the growing pressure on hospitals to measure quality and keep
Correct answer choice as it clearly states what X as well as Y are doing.

(D) a desire for gains in efficiency as well as the growing pressure on hospitals in measuring quality and to keep
'in measuring quality and to keep' is wrong.
(E) a desire for gains in efficiency as well as the growth of pressure on hospitals that measure quality and keep.
'that' refers to 'the growth of pressure' and it completely destroys the meaning. Hence wrong.
