If we see the 250 and 251 th term it would be 1, because 0 is 1 percent so first 5 will be zero then 50% is 1 so (50 percent of 500 =250 ) until 255 th term it would be 1

And so the median will be 1

Median = Middle term/Average of two middle terms (After arranging terms in Ascending/Descending order)

Middle two terms in this problem = 250th and 251st term

Median = (250th + 251st Terms) /2

Number of households in 1% (of 500) = 5

i.e.
0 TV households = 5 (1%)
1 TV Households = 250 (50%) [Cumulative households counted = 5+250 = 255]

i.e. 251st and 250th Households will have 1 TV each
i.e. Median Number of TV = 1

Answer: Option A
