B = 14p
11p+x / 14p+x = 47/56
i.e. 616p + 56x = 658p + 47x
i.e. 9x = 42p
i.e. x = 14p/3
Bob new / Bob old = 14p+x / 14p
i.e. Bob new / Bob old = 14p+x / 14p = 56p/3 / 14p = 4/3
Answer: Option B

Let's say that:
-->Original Score: \(\frac{Adam}{ Bob }= \frac{33}{42 }\)
--> New Score: \(\frac{Adam}{ Bob}= \frac{33+14}{42+14}= \frac{47}{56}\)
---------------------------------------------
Bob's: \(\frac{New score}{ Orig.score}\) = \(\frac{56}{42}= \frac{8}{6} = \frac{4}{3}\)
Answer (B).
