Let prices be: Classic = C, Chocolate = H, Berry = B, Pistachio = P.
Compare April vs March using differences in quantities:
Classic: 232 − 260 = −28
Chocolate: 188 − 180 = +8
Berry: 161 − 150 = +11
Pistachio: 219 − 210 = +9
Net revenue change = −28C + 8H + 11B + 9P
We need to know if this expression is > 0.
(1) P is the lowest price. So P < C, H, B.
Loss from Classic is −28C (large negative since C > P). Gains are from H, B, P, but P has the smallest price. So positive terms are relatively weaker.
Test cases:
  • If C is much larger than others → negative overall.
  • If H and B are much larger than C → could be positive.
Insufficient.
(2) C is the highest price. So C > H, B, P.
Now −28C is a large negative term (largest price with biggest drop). Positive terms use smaller prices.
Even if H, B, P are close to C, the coefficients matter:
Negative: −28C
Positive max if all others ≈ C: 8C + 11C + 9C = 28C
So at best it balances to 0; but since C is strictly greater, actual positive side < 28C → net < 0.
Thus revenue decreased.
Sufficient.

TypeMarchApril
Classic (C)260232
Chocolate (H)180188
Berry (B)150161
Pistachio (P)210219
To compare revenues, rewrite the changes as transferred units:
TypeMarchApril
Classic28 (260−232)0
Chocolate08 (188−180)
Berry011 (161−150)
Pistachio09 (219−210)
Total28 (28C)28 (8H + 11B + 9P)

Statement (1):
P < C, H, B
case 1:
C = 10, H = 1, B = 1, P = 1
28C = 280
8H + 11B + 9P
= 8 + 11 + 9
= 28
April revenue decreased.
case 2:
C = 1, H = 100, B = 100, P = 1
28C = 28
8H + 11B + 9P
= 800 + 1100 + 9
= 1909
April revenue increased.

Statement (1) is not sufficient.

Statement (2):
C > H, B, P
Also, total units on both sides are equal (= 28).
Therefore:
28C > 8H + 11B + 9P
Hence, March revenue > April revenue
Statement (2) is sufficient.
