A particular sector is dedicated for educational institutions; mainly young students live in this sector and they often depend on restaurants. => would help explain

Sort by Restaurants
=> Sector with the largest number of restaurants also has the avg age of 21
=> 21 is the avg age of uni students

Proximity to hospitals is a strong preference for the elderly in choosing their residence. => would help explain

Sort by Avg Age (ascending)
=> the number of hospital of those aged 62 is also of the highest

Visitors to hospitals often dine in restaurants. => would not help explain

Sort by Hospitals (ascending)
=> the number of restaurants does not increase proportionally

Few points that are grey which could have been included in the question stem, making it clearer such as the sectors of the city were of almost equal area and the local population utilizes the resources of only the corresponding area due to community reasons. - without these assumptions statement 2 is debatable.

In statement 2, it ask about the proximity to hospital. How can more number of hospitals help in explaining the proximity??

Hi Sajjad, My problem is with the word 'Proximity" in option B. Number of hospitals doesn't imply proximity. Please clarify.

The first part talks about institutions, but it is nowhere written in the question stem about it. How can we infer that?

It says that the people attending these institutions are young, therefore the average age of the sector will be lower. If we look at the sector with the lowest age, they do in fact have a significant number of restaurants. It's a hypothetical that could help explain the data, not key information itself.
