There are 54 drivers and 60 cars in a taxi company. Every day, 15 cars will stay at the repair shop and drivers without cars will take a day off. How many days off will each driver have in 30 days.

A. 4
B. 5
C. 6
D. 7
E. 9

Each day we have \(45\) cars and \(54\) drivers

So each day \(54 -45 = 9\) drivers have a day off.

Lets say driver A was in the first batch of \(9\) drivers. Next day another batch of \(9\) drivers have their off.

So in two days \(18 \) drivers have had off . Hence in \(6\) days all \(54\) drivers will have had their off.

On the seventh day again driver A's batch of \(9\) drivers will have a day off.

So in \(12 \) days driver A has off \(2\) times . So in \(30\) days he will have off \(5\) times .

Ans B

Hope it's clear.
