Let the total bill amount be T.

Shay = (T/2) - 7

Ashley = (T/4) + 8

Jenna = 20

(T/2)-7 + (T/4) +8 + 20 = T

(T/2)+(T/4) = T-21

3T = 4T - 84

T = 84

T= S+A+J
S= (T/2)-7 ......(1)
A= 8+ (T/4) ......(2)
J= 20......(3)
T= ((T-14)/2)+((32+T)/4)+20
4T= 2T-28+32+T+80
4T= 3T +84
T= 84
