The expression ‘in which’ consists of a preposition, ‘in’ and a relative pronoun ‘which’. You can use this expression to begin a relative clause that comes after a noun that refers to time or a place.
Eg: In my house there is back yard ‘where’ I grow roses or
In my house there is back yard ‘in which’ I grow roses .
The 80’s and 90’s were the decades ‘when’ Maradona’s presence electrified the audience in a foot ball match or
The 80’s and 90’s were the decades ‘in which’ Maradona’s presence electrified the audience in a foot ball match
The use of 'in which' is considered more formal and I wonder if GMAT grudges formal writing.
So what is wrong with using ‘in which’ with online matrimonial sites? Alternately, what other or better way is to express the same idea?

B. in which anxious parents endeavor to fix the best of spouses for their wards, and eligible candidates choose suitable mates after preliminary rounds of enquiries ...........in which correctly refers to online matrimonial sites
C. in which anxious parents endeavor and fix the best spouse for their wards, and choose eligible candidates after preliminary rounds of enquiries..........endeavor and fix are not two different consecutive tasks. And spoils the picture here.
D. which help anxious parents fix the best of spouses for their wards, and eligible candidates choose suitable mates after preliminary rounds of enquiries...........which incorrectly refers to India thereby inducing meaning error.
