I recently saw my status on the GIAC website change..it's changed from '..currently reviewing it..' to 'forwarded to the Graduate Committee..' but I dont know what to make of it.

Hi all. I haven't logged in for a while, but figured an update was in order.

I was waitlisted on 2/2 along with the others. I declined my spot on “the list” as I had previously accepted another admittance offer.

I was surprised by the WL decision, but obviously not too discouraged since it ended up not mattering.

For reference: I applied on 10/29, was interviewed on 11/29 and got the final decision on 2/2 (about 100 days after I applied).

Actually, my application status changed to "sent to the committee" 5 weeks after the interview. Hence, again, I dont know what to make of it.

No worries. It can take some time. I believe my process went a little faster because I was a re-applicant. Though I hate waiting, at least I know they are really taking time to look over each application. :-D

Yes mourinh-- ingod and i both had applied for TOEFL waiver and it took close to 2 weeks to get approved. Your application will not be reviewed till the waiver has been approved.
