Hi,
I had a query regarding my profile, but also a new position...
University - Top 50, private, my major (International Relations) was rated in the top 5 nationally. 3.0 GPA, 3.5 major GPA
Master's - Top 5 UK university
Took a year off to go traveling and perfect my French (studied and received a certificate from the University of Paris
Internships - Top three Private Wealth Management firm, US House of Representatives, US Senate, the White House, and Scottish Parliament
WE 1 - UK Civil Service (1 year)
WE 2 - Niche energy consultancy (6 months, fixed contract)
WE 3 - Big 4 (Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG) Consultancy / Advisory focused in Oil & Gas, and Strategy (1 year)
GMAT 720
----------------
My question is this, I know I want to stay / return to consultancy long term, however I have received a job offer, albeit at lower pay, from the government doing a job that I am quite interested in and would love to do.
Is it better to stay in my current role for another year or two and apply for an MBA or would I still be able to get into a top 17 or so MBA doing a couple years in this government role?
Are there any business schools that 1) Appreciate / find government WE attractive in applicants 2) Don't mind multiple roles prior to commencing the MBA?
What schools would you recommend to me?
