I read earlier in the forums both here and Beat the GMAT , atleast with round 1 that invites went out right up until the last week before the decision. I read about one person in India getting an invite 3 weeks before the decision date, which I think would make it very hard for him to come to the US and interview. We can't assume anything at this point. Any pattern is just random.

well here's to another week of hoping. i'm trying to ween myself off the habit of glimpsing at my inbox, but so so tough.
Count me in for R3. Took the GMAT on Friday, pulled 710. Majored in journalism at a big state school, have worked in web marketing for around three years.
I've been lurking around here, watching out for peaks in Stanford invites - however the process is as random as it seems! I received an interview invite yesterday (on a Sunday PST!)
The interview should be done by March 12th.
I have a 760 on the GMAT, and come from a management consulting background (global, highly renowned firm). Undergrad was tech-focused in a local university with an excellent rep.
How come this is the most inactive forum on GMAT club? Only 30 something pages when compared to 100's of pages on other schools. And another interesting thing- only our friends and friend's of friends get interview invites from Stanford.
