Someone reported an admit call on the chat today, can anyone else confirm that the calls have started?

Already? That ish cray! I haven't heard of anything, and I'll try not to start bugging out till the week of the 19th.

what chat today? yeah, I havent heard anything about any calls yet.

I think the original poster was referring to the GMATClub chat. I haven't heard anything about calls yet, either.

Lol yes that would be me. Jacksparrow and co. freaked me out enough that I decided to bite the bullet and call. Don't know why people go on here to report false information...seems like they'd have better things to do

LOL.

Would make an on-campus interview much more relaxing too.

Before hitting submit: GMAT Club boards are a great source of information, tips, and encouragement.

AFTER hitting submit: Gmat Club forums resemble a sequel to the movie Contagion, entitled Contagion: Paranoia.

Had my interview on campus on Monday with an Adcom member. She was very friendly and had a good list of interview questions. Started off with tell me a little bit about yourself, your undergrad experience, activities/leadership during undergrad, your professional experience and then moved on to the usual why MBA, why you, why Kellogg.. pretty standard and made me feel extremely comfortable. Lasted about 40 mins with about 5-7mins for my questions.

Have any of you been able to send thank you notes to your interviewers? Even though she gave me a card, the email address listed there is not her personal email, it is just the mbaadmissions email! Do you reckon I just send my thank you note to mbaadmissions directed to her or just not bother at all?!?!?

Thanks!

If you remember her name you can probably pull her e-mail from the Kellogg directory available on the website

I ran into the same problem. I just sent a short, hand-written note to the my adcom member addressed to her with the mba admissions offfice address. Hope that helps! Good luck!

I had the same problem. The way I see it, you have about 24-48hrs. before they submit the interview results to the admissions committee for review. I just decided not to send anything.

I think you should write the note.
I sent mine to the general e-mail address and started it with "This e-mail is for XXX"
and then wrote my note.

They responded a few days later saying that the e-mail was forwarded to that specific addmission officer.

If the interview is not really with an adcom member but with a current MBA 2 student, does that indicate anything negative?

No some second year students are actually a part of the admissions committee at Kellogg. Most on-campus interviews are done by Second year students. I believe an adcom member only conducts the interview if a second year is unavailable during that time slot.

My interviewer was a 1st year student. I really don't think who your interviewer is indicates anything about your status or there's any weighting basis who interviews you.

Thank you. I did send my interviewer a thank you note, after a week, and got no response. :D

Wonder what's gonna happen come Dec 20th.
