I imagine they're focused on initial decisions now. I sent in an update before hearing my initial decision and received feedback very quickly so the speed of their response is likely aligned with the curent status of the respective application. That said, it doesn't hurt to give them a call at some point to ensure their receipt.

By the way, AMAZING score. Congrats on that acomplishment alone!

just go the status notification email and i'm in!

that was really fast--interviewed last thursday (feb. 2) at spotlight on stern women. my interviewer told me decisions would be within 2-3 weeks and i was hoping it'd be within the week, nice!

hope i got some $...need to wait for the acceptance package now.

congrats! i was at spotlight on stern women too but i don't think i met you. i don't think i remember too many people's names anyways because there were so many of us.

do you know where you will matriculate at?

and you have some amazing stats! i bet stern will offer you a scholarship!

I guess the high GMAT theory makes sense?

In case any of you are worried about your chances because of your GMAT score, it may make you happy to know that I was accepted with a relatively "low" GMAT score. I had a 690.

There seems no way they would Ding you. GMAT 770 & 2 year Venture Capital?
Man what else they can reject you on if they compare with the girl with GMAT 690? Feeling more pressure after reading your profile. Can you provide some insights about how you think u got Ding?

seriously???

I'm sure both have great backgrounds, but how about: "fit with Stern", "post MBA goals", "Why MBA", etc. Essays (as well as recommendations, ECs, etc.) ARE important!

Served in the military *before* starting my undergrad studies; part of my 2 years in VC were during studies (worked 75% of full-time capacity). Bottom-line, only just over one year of *post* college full-time employment.

I received a NYU stern MBA poster sent to my address, what does that mean to my application? Does anyone else received it?
