Thanks, I am excited.

Profile: 26 F, GMAT 680 (stronger verbal leanings), average GPA from well-known very competitive undergrad, liberal arts background. The strongest component of my app is my work experience as I run an entire branch of a small but global company.

For those who received interview invites: Did your status change from "Submitted" to something else? Or is the status still as "Submitted"?

Hey guys, could anybody answer me: I got the interview invitation for R2 too, I’m based in Vietnam however Vietnam is not included in the list of interview location, the nearest is China Shanghai. My question is whether I can suggest interview via Skype or phone, anyone had experience pls share, thank you!

HI,

As i can make out, INterview invites have already staretd coming-in for R2 as well!! Congrats to all those who received.

I wanted to know if ppl who have recvd interview invites for R2 submitted applications way before deadline of Jan 5?? Is there any application status check that i should do?

I guess it's possible to ask for a phone interview. The Adcom only travels to a few countries in the world and they can't expect everyone to fly out there and attend a f2f interview right? Some int'l students also have visa issues to consider if they are required to travel abroad.

anyways...i registered myself with an interview in SH today.....i needed to fly out there from hong kong...and i am wondering if i should ask for a phone interview instead. :? it better be worth it.....uh...

I submitted my application around close of business (5 eastern) the day before the deadline. So I don't know if time of submission has much to do with it. I do know a lot adcoms wait until the day after the deadline and then print all the apps for review.

I submitted my app a few minutes before the deadline on 1/5, and I got my interview invite Friday afternoon, 1/13.

I too submitted my app late in the process, about 10 minutes before the deadline. I was very surprised to see the interview invite arrive in my inbox so soon. I'm trying to convince my wife it would make sense to fly to Shanghai or Paris for the interview (I live in the US), but I'm not winning the battle yet.
