When they say that they will be "reviewing your application each round and will contact you no later than Mar 26" What rounds exactly are they referring to? Does this mean that they will be updating decisions for WL-ers before that?
To everyone still in the hunt, just keep on truckin'. I got waitlisted at HBS, rejected at Kellogg, and in with a fellowship at Wharton! This whole process is a crapshoot...just keep trying! "Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence" - Calvin Coolidge
Just got off the phone with Ankur. IN with a fellowship (exact same as Booth's)
(Los Angeles)
Congrats! Have been following your blog. You are killin' it!!

So happy for you! Wasn't our discussion group the best? And you and I had the same idea for our issue as well. Great minds think alike! Though I must admit, you took the wind out of me momentarily when you went first and starting talking about the same issue that I was looking at. Good thing I did enough research to add more points to your points! lol.

Those that got a fellowship with their acceptance, any idea the maximum amount they're offering?
Wharton Class of 2015!!!!! Got a call at 9:50am but missed it. Got an email about 30 minutes ago. Shoutout to MBAOVER30 been following your blog all along, can't wait to meet you at admitted students weekend or during pre-term!
Special thanks to mbaover30 and cheetarah. I'm a MEGA lurker. I'm not the genius content creators you guys (and many others on this forum are), but I loved reading your stories and explanations. Congrats mbaover30 - great news on Booth and Wharton.
To everyone else, my call was from a current student who was based in Philly but who was tasked with calling San Francisco applicants. He did mention that I was the very last call he would be making. So, I'm not sure what that means exactly. I would think that there are still calls going out all over the place to all parts of the country, though. It's definitely not a centralized, systematic, time-zone by time-zone effort.
What are the odds from here? Is it more like the HBS 25% or the Stanford 5%?

Odds based on Yield, and H/S/W have the highest 3 yields. At HBS, 10% (100) of admits have generally given up their spots; 15% (~65) at Stanford GSB; Wharton, 30% (~300). However, each school plans for this and over invites. The numbers and trends tend to hold from year to year though.
Any applicants to the new Global Track at lauder and got accepted? That's a new track and it would be interesting to know about the applicants and acceptances.
I'm in and plan to attend the welcome weekend. Does anyone know whether Wharton would negotiate a discounted rate with selected hotels in Philly for us?
I am based in Beijing and travel to Hong Kong sometimes. If you are in one of these areas please feel free to msg me!
Look forward to seeing you soon. Merry X'mas and Happy New Year!
