I don't think your stats would be a problem at McCombs. I would be more worried about ISB, since they look more heavily on GMAT/GPA.

Your GPA is a bit low, is that a converted GPA? I heard that converted GPAs are a bit lower than US custom. If so, may be you can put the GPA into context. For example, are you the top 50 percentile, etc. Beyond that, I wouldn't mention your GPA, since you can't help that anymore.

I would try to come up with a convincing story on why you want an MBA, and what you foresee yourself doing after your MBA.

hi souhmba,
the info i was curious about was where you went to college (was it a competitive program), what has been your career progression to date, and what do you plan to do with your MBA - specifically - after graduating.

the first point is not possible to change or alter, but it's important context in doing an evaluation. and the second 2 points - while it might not seem as important - can often be the difference between acceptance and denial.
