I submitted on 9/23 for the J-Term and have been waiting anxiously. Last night, I had a horrible dream that I received a letter in the mail from CBS and all it said was, "Ding and peace." LOL. I woke up and prayed for like 10 minutes.
I think I'm going to ask my boss to give me extra work, so I am not sitting here checking my email every 5 minutes.
Hi guys I have a question since it's a little bit stressful to wait for the interview invitation and have to check mailbox so often. I submitted my application in the last minute of ED round and my status on the website is always "submitted". If I won't suppose to get an interview, will my status change to "denied" or something else to let me know game is over?
Thanks and good luck to everyone!

I believe that if you are dinged, you will received an email notifying you that your application status has been updated.
has anyone been paying attention or have any additional insight as to what time of day the interview invites have been sent out? it might help everyone to know so we don't all constantly check our inboxes.

I received my interview invite on Oct. 5th at 10am CST.
...I've now been checking my status hourly waiting for my interviewer to submit feedback to the school.
This is sooo not the right time to send that Spotlight email!!

That same email fooled me twice, once on laptop and again later on smartphone!
I submitted ED on 10/2 and have had lump in throat since reading that people who submitted on same day got interview emails last Friday (congrats to all of them!). No ding yet though so haven't given up hope completely but not sure I can take another "Spotlight On" email haha.
I have a question. I applied ED and put down on my app that I have a significant other who is applying, and in my opinion will get into Columbia's Public Health program, but her application is not due for another month or so. Would they hold back my application until they can take a look at hers?

They won't hold it back. I did the same thing (SO applying to graduate nursing program), submitted 10/1 (completed w/recs on 10/3), got the interview invite on 10/16 and interviewed on 10/19. Feeback was uploaded 10/21 and now I'm waiting for the decision.
I also wanted to ask the board - any stories yet of ED candidates being dinged post-interview? I've been trying to keep an eye on the posts but don't remember seeing anything. Just trying to get a feel for the acceptance rate for ED interviewees (seems decent so far).
