For round 1 applicants we kindly request that you wait until the week of January 7 to contact our office." - We wait this long to say we want to remain on the list (after finding out who our manager is) or do we send a quick e-mail saying I'm in and then call them on the 7th to find our manager and start discussing next steps?? Same here... 'Check application status' page shows my WL letter back from Dec. 2012. I am just being optimistic and assuming that they are short on staff due to recent storm etc.

Sorry to hear that ndmaynard! Since you have a waitlist manager you might as well try contacting her to see if she'll provide feedback. I've really only heard about Tuck giving feedback, but Kellogg was pretty open to us waitlisters so maybe they'll give you some feedback. Still have the Dec waitlist letter as well in my account.

Not sure if freetz was a 1Y or 2Y app, but it seems like most, if not all of the changes today, have been for the one yr program.

Looks like the case. I remember reading their adcom member talking about more seats and increasing focus on 1 yr program starting this year. May be they're just prioritizing the 1 YR program. Let's see.....
