Hi, I have a 550 gmat (42 Q 24V ) for the second time, the first time i took the gmat i also got a 550 (36Q 29V). I have a 3.2 gpa in finance & economics at Stony Brook with 63 months work experience at Standard & Poor's. I finished my last years with about a 3.4 gpa taking upper level business and eco classes. Last semester was a 3.7 gpa. My job got outsourced to India a few months ago and I've been volunteering at a hospital since. I have recommendations from S&P and from volunteering. What are my chances of getting into MS accounting at Baruch and MS accounting in Pace? How about a part time mba accounting at fordham and flex mba at rutgers? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hmmmm, 550 is a bit on the low side, esp. considering you aren't currently working. But since you have time until next deadlines, i would use that time to study really hard for the GMAT and keep on taking it, until you break it. At this point, it's the single thing that will help you most.

I think that you can try both Baruch and Pace, since all ACC Programs are adjusting to be 150 credits for acc students. I am a currently undergraduate acc student in Baruch. What I heard about the MS in ACC is not that competitive.
