so....i got an email just a few minutes ago from a 2nd year EWMBA student, and i did NOT have any questions at my interview that the interviewer couldn't answer. i asked some general things about what she wished students better understood about the program.

the plot thickens!

Is there any correlation between getting emails from current students and acceptance?

No - I know people who got in without ever having received e-mails from current students.

I understand a phone call means accept. Everyone else gets an email.

Phone call means you are in, WL will come as an email. Though, don't lose hope if you don't get a call, since I know people who got in without a call. Calls usually go out the day before the results come out.

Agreed. I received an email & the student never responded to my questions. Not sure if that is important. I think @packet82 mentioned he didn't receive a response last year either.

There might be a correlation if you look at it this way.

All those who received the email from second year students got into the program.
Few of those who did not get the email from second year students still got into the program.

So, if you got an email from second year student, you are in bucket one, a positive thing.
If you did not, then you are in bucket two.

Anyways, come Friday all these speculations will come to an end!

yikes, ok - i've gotten zero emails from current students. will try not to read too much into this, per @2013EWMBA's comment. but, either way, i will let u all know of the decision i receive on friday.

March 26th was the result date for full time MBA class. On March 24th, people in Europe started getting calls, then East Coast folks. On 25th people in the west got to know.

Going by that logic and that there are no international applications for EWMBA, I am guessing calls will only start tomorrow.
