Peruvian Male, 25 years old.
GMAT: 680 (I have not taken it yet)
Bachelor of Systems Engineering (IT) in a Top School (Peru)
Top 5% of the class. 15.7/20 (If I convert this to GPA, it would be 3.15 GPA. I don't know if this applies since I am top 5% of the class.) Please advise in this.
Work experience:
2.2 years at a Big 4 (Systems Auditing and IT Consulting)
1.7 year at a Medium Size company (consumer products)
1.7 year as part-time supervisor in my family business (Real State and Agriculture)
Free Lance in SAP Security and Process Consulting
Extracurricular:
Teach MS Office to people with disabilities
Organize Christmas Charity in my district.
Goal: Top 10 B-schools
Short Term: Work in a Strategy Consulting Firm
Long Term: Manage family business
GMAT: 680 (I have not taken it yet)

Hey there,
So a couple of things. If you could, give me a little more information. It's hard to tell the impact of your experiences from the list. What kind of work did you do at the Big 4 or in the consumer products company? Can you tell me more about your family business? How large was it? What did you do for them? How large was the team you supervised / managed. Is your freelancing significant or a gig or two here and there?
Additionally, it's impossible to assess your chances without a GMAT score. While you may think a 680 is close to what you would get based on practice exams, it still isn't set in stone. When do you plan to take it?

- Auditing Big and Medium Size companies systems
- Lead on-campus projects
- SOX Auditing (consumer goods and mining corporations)
IT Consult:
- Leading a SAP Module Implementation (BASIS module)
- Implementing a SAP Module (Finance- Controlling module)
- Implementing Best practice in Information Security (SAP)
Consumer Products Company:
This company is a family business, it wasn't a technology oriented business (1000+ employees)
- Leading in-house system implementation
- Business process reengineering (finance, purchase, sales process)
- Working in IT Security standards right now
Family Business (responsible for managing 20 employees):
In small words, my grandmother died and my father need someone to oversee all the operations
- Supervising purchases of intermediate goods (agriculture)
- Supervising and coordinating product sales (agriculture)
- Operation Management (Only part time) (Reduce by 30% the cost of operations by reengineering process)
Freelancing is not significative.
Well I am planning to take it on December. I do not have too much time to study for it.
