Thanks a lot!! i'm based out of Baltimore. Applying for a deferred application though.

There's still a full week of interview invites to be sent I think! However according to the email, they're only offering a very small amount of on-campus interviews with alumni this thursday. The rest will be wherever you guys are based.

Thanks! yeah it shows "invited for interview." And then it lets me view my application or schedule the interview. Tried to post a screenshot of it but not sure how to

I got an email and that's when I went to check my application. The email says:

Greetings from the Stanford MBA Admissions Office! We have reviewed your application and are delighted to invite you to interview.

The first step in this process is for you to let us know your location and general availability for the next few weeks. Please log in to your application. Click on "Update Interview Info" to let us know your interview preferences.

And then they have a Q&A saying among other things:

In Round 3, we are providing one option for applicants who would like to complete their interview while they are visiting the GSB campus. On Thursday, 23 April, alumni interviewers will be available in the evening to meet with invited applicants. This is the only option available to applicants who would like to request an on-campus interview.

Thanks etemeo! I actually submitted it exactly at the deadline aka at 5pm pacific time. But since I'm applying for deferred admission I don't think that means much in terms of which applications they go through first. They might sort it by admission year or by last name or by anything else. Honestly all this is a black box to me... Fingers crossed that you get an interview! :-D

last year, the last invite was sent on April 22nd, so as far as I'm concerned, If I don't receive anything by tomorrow COB, I'll move on!

they said they will continue sending invites up until a week before the notification date, does it mean they could possibly be sending invites till April 29th? I'm confused...

I know it's so confusing. Maybe you should call them to get an idea if/when they're still sending invitations. Last year they might have sent some after the 22nd but just no one on this forum got them.

I think someone in last year's forum got an invite on 23rd as well, which was exactly 10 business days before the result date (7th Apr).

I have noticed a pattern here: so far, the invites were sent to those who applied for a deferred admission only.

Let's wait until tomorrow before we call/email them...I'm sure there must at least one person on here who has an amazing application!!

I called this morning to see if there was a hard cut-off date and was told that, unlike earlier rounds, they will be sending out interview invitations up until the day before May 6th although I'm not sure this is right (doesn't really sound feasible?).

Wondering if someone else on here calls if they get the same answer...
