I got that email too. I don't know if it's true but it sure feels like a heads up that I should be expecting a ding.

The link will show up at 5PM or whenever they release the decisions on the portal. Does this mean it is over? No way its over I think...it would have been a generic mail send to all applicants......

sigh sounds like an email that says "hey check your ding letter at 5 PM" - horrible friday

guys pls dont let negativity creep in...its not over until we see the ding....Hope is the cure right now...

I wonder if someone who was already accepted (received a phone call) can chime in and say whether or not they also received the "generic" email notifying about the online decision today at 5PM EST. That would indicate it's really a mass sent email to every applicant.
