I just wanted to know, was there a particular font and format we had to upload the essays? I remember seeing instructions in other school applications, but not in Columbia's?
Can any one please confirm. I do not want to be dinged because of font and spacing

Not that I remember. I would say go with the "typical" fonts. And you will not get dinged becuase of formatting. Don't stress about the little details!

Thanks orgilsed and Big Congrats! This info helps a lot.
Been lurking a lot but never posted. First posts are to say I got accepted to CBS!
Here is my timeline:
Application submitted: Nov 21st Interview received: Dec 18th Interview on: Dec 30th Interview report on: Dec 30th Admission decision: Jan 7th, call at 10am EST
I'm a little late to the party, but I just received my admission from CBS last week!
App submitted RD: 10/14 Interview received: 12/10 Interview on: 1/6 Interview report on: 1/7 Admission decision: 1/8
Best of luck if you are still in the process! Also, I haven't seen many of the admits mention anything about scholarships. I know that the CBS website mentions they are issued on a "rolling basis", but any idea if that means they are issued upon decision notification?
I submitted my application on 1/3 and the waiting is already driving me nuts... I hope I'm closer to the 3-week end of the notification spectrum than the 6-week
I am from India and have submitted on the 31st Dec, Recommendation went in on 5th and 6th. So ... a long wait. Hope i get the invite and the wait is not futile
As i mentioned earlier, I received IV invite on Jan 6, scheduled on Jan 7, and conducted interview on Jan 9 (Fri). Interviewer has yet to submit feedback (side note but I think IV went very well; we spent ~1 hour talking and she said to email her to let her know what ends up happening) . I'm really anxious to find out. I saw many had feedback sent same or next day.
Anyone else have a delayed submission of IV feedback?

Don't stress - I'm certain it has no bearing on your admissions decision. Reasons could range from an especially busy weekend for your interviewer to a system that's painfully slow to update as applications have started piling on the Adcom around the normal R2 deadlines. Sit tight.
So it appears that somewhere in the range of 3-4 weeks is a realistic expectation for first contact. However, it wouldn't surprise me if the response time slows down this time of the year.
Should have submitted my app earlier instead of with my R2 apps...
