Our goal for interviewed applicants is to render a final decision within two weeks of the interview report being completed. It is our goal that all reviews are within these timelines. I just got the call (1/15) from the admissions office that I got in! I also was awarded a full two year merit scholarship, which was delivered over the phone and in my formal acceptance letter. Hope this helps others and good luck to everyone else!

Haven't been on these forums in a while... but wanted to add a data point. Accepted to CBS with 2-year full tuition merit fellowship App submission - 11/3/14 Interview notification - 12/17/14 Interview date - 12/23/14 Interview report submission - 12/29/14 Call - 1/6/15 Full ride makes the choice easy. See you all at CBS this fall! Also, do any of you know what happens to the deposit if you aren't paying tuition? Does it just go to other fees/expenses?

No problem. I graduated from a top Ivy League undergrad, worked in Investment Banking at a top 3 bulge bracket firm then went to Private Equity. Most recently, I decided that Finance was not where my passions were and I left Wall Street to pursue social impact, which is where I hope to grow my career. I also sit on a Board of a major nonprofit and started two young professional committees that are well known in NYC. Super grateful for the opportunity to be part of the CBS community! Although I had my interview report submitted on 1/9, they called me on 1/15 because they wanted to make sure the Fellowship committee reviewed my application. They said they would have called me on 1/9 otherwise, so delayed calls are not always a bad sign!

Has anybody who applied 12/30 or later heard anything back from Columbia yet? Interview invitation, ding, ...etc.

Submitted 12/30 - heard nothing back yet. It's the very start of the 3-6 week range I see being tossed around here. Patience, though admittedly hard to muster, is key here!
