Columbia was closed down today at 3p continuing through Wednesday due to the storm. I'm guessing we may have to wait an extra day or two to hear from admissions. I submitted on 1/4....as it's rolling admissions, looks like they're "past" my application and I didn't hear back. Can anyone weigh in if this should be cause for worry or are they possibly looking at them in batches?

i wouldnt worry about it. i applied 12/18 and received an invite 1/15. i saw a bunch of people post who applied after me and received invites before me.

Feeling horrible. Might be a rejection without interview.

As far as I understand, the applications are divided up among the admissions members and while they generally all go at the same pace a difference of 2-3 days is not uncommon. If you haven't heard back yet please don't dwell on that too much or try to read into the tea leaves. Until you hear something official from the school one way or another you are in the running. It is definitely nerve wracking, I totally understand that but especially with the massive storm in NYC right now its going to add delays. For everyone who is still waiting best of luck!
