Invited to booth interview, denied without one at CBS. I feel like Wharton is going to be another (D), but I'm left puzzled.

Sort of in the same boat, just the CBS ding is yet to be made formal.

How did your booth interview go btw?

Curious, why do you think you'd be denied from CBS? Primarily because you haven't heard back yet? Your stats/background look like a great fit for Wharton + CBS.

Hey, does Wharton release all interview decisions on 11th at a particular time (a la HBS) or is it more of a rolling structure in the last couple of days?
Hi Pway, per the email sent out by Wharton when I submitted my application:
"The Admissions Committee will release interview invitations on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 by 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. On February 11th, the Committee will also release all final admissions decisions to candidates that are not being invited for an interview and therefore no longer being considered for admission."

It's a la HBS.

Good Luck! I really want Wharton and hope I can an interview call!! Fingers crossed.

Reasons for expecting ding:-
1. Work ex gap of 10 months and just 50 months of experience (Relatively Low-considering these schools)
2. I see the kind of guys from my country (India) getting dinged in Regular Decision of CBS. My profile isnt as good.
3. I am not highly confident about my essays at both schools. Sort of last minute hotchpotch
4. Haven't heard from CBS yet (More the delay, more likely to be a ding?)

Reasons for expecting invites:-
1. Luck
2. God
:P

I think, almost everyone applying to these schools have stellar GMAT and GPA. So on that field I may be level, but on other areas, I think I lag behind.

Yeah, I love Booth so hopefully it happens for me!

No love from Kellogg yet - no invite or waiver.. Indian applicant here though :|

It's my understanding that invites will be sent out throughout the day until 5pm EST. I'm assuming dings will come at the end, but I could be wrong...

I was a R1 applicant. I received my interview email at 3:46pm. I believe everyone knew by 5pm whether they were invited to interview or not. The email either said "You have been invited to interview as the next step in the application process." OR if it was a ding, I believe the email just said there was an application status update.

I live in the Middle East...does anyone know how competitive the off-campus interview slots are to get? Considering staying up until 3am so I can get the slot!

Yeah, should not be a tough one for MSN. They are in destructive form since the turn of the year.
